»The Protection of the Personal Rights of Public Figures in Criminal Investigations Proceedings«: The study assesses the need for protection of the personal rights of public figures as defendants in criminal investigations. It focuses on the legal prerequisites for identifying public relations by the prosecution in principally not public investigation proceedings and addresses the effects of the defendant's status as a public figure on the legal limits of permissible public relations by the prosecution.
Katharina Fenzl studied law at the University of Rostock and the Free University of Berlin. She passed the second state examination in 2014. Afterwards, she wrote her dissertation under the supervision of Professor Dr Bernd Heinrich. From 2014 to 2017, she worked as a research assistant in an international law firm in Berlin. Since 2017, she works as an attorney-at-law in the litigation department of an international law firm with a focus on antitrust damages and insolvency law.
