Enzyme Assays
High-throughput Screening, Genetic Selection and Fingerprinting
Edited by one of the leading experts in the field, this book fills the need for a book presenting the most important methods for high-throughput screenings and functional characterization of enzymes. It adopts an interdisciplinary approach, making it indispensable for all those involved in this expanding field, and reflects the major advances made over the past few years.
For biochemists, analytical, organic and catalytic chemists, and biotechnologists.
1985 Jean-Louis Reymond obtained his diploma working with Professor Seebach at the ETH Zürich. He finished his thesis in the field of total synthesis in 1989 in the group of Professor Vogel. After being in the United States for two years at the Scripps Research Institute he became an assistant professor there. 1997 he returned to the University of Bern, Switzerland. His research interest is biocatalysis and in particular enzyme design, assays, profiling, fingerprints and inhibitors.
