Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting
Die Durchflusszytometrie hat sich zu einem unentbehrlichen Werkzeug in der medizinisch-klinischen Diagnostik und der modernen Biochemie entwickelt. Die Vorteile dieser Methode liegen darin, dass Einzelzellen schnell, quantitativ und mit hoher statistischer Genauigkeit hinsichtlich zellulärer (z.B. DNA Gehalt), biochemischer (z.B. Enzymaktivitäten, Ionenfluss) und immunologischer (z.B. Differenzierungsmarker) Parameter analysiert werden können. Die jüngste Entwicklung in der Cell Sorting Technologie (Trennen von Zellen) ermöglicht die Isolierung einzelner, in einer Zellpopulation nur wenig vertretener Zelltypen für weitere Untersuchungen.
