He has a wide range of experience in publishing including acting as a Guest Editor of Current Medicinal Chemistry and Combinatorial Chemistry & High Throughput Screening and serving as Editor-in-Chief for several journals. Additionally, he has guest-edited two volumes of Topics in Heterocyclic Chemistry and recently edited a number of books. Dr. Gupta has also served on the Editorial Board of the Indian Journal of Chemistry, Sec B (CSIR, New Delhi) and presently is at the editorial board of Letters in Drug Design and Discovery, Online Journal of Organic Chemistry, and BenSci Journal, and Research and Reports in Medicinal Chemistry. Dr. Gupta has contributed more than a half dozen reviews in Chemical Reviews in addition to many in Progress in Drug Research, Current Medicinal Chemistry, and some others, besides hundreds of excellent original publications in various internationally reputed journals.
