Modern Heterogeneous Oxidation Catalysis
Design, Reactions and Characterization
Filling a gap in the current literature, this comprehensive reference presents all important catalyst classes, including metal oxides, polyoxometalates, and zeolites. Readers will find here everything they need to know -- from structure design to characterization, and from immobilization to industrial processes.
A true must-have for anyone working in this key technology.
Noritaka Mizuno received his Ph. D. in 1985 at the University of Tokyo. In 1989 he did a postdoctoral work with Professor Richard G. Finke at University of Oregon and returned to Japan as an Associate Professor at Catalysis Research Center, Hokkaido University (1990). Afterwards, he moved to the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo, and then to the Department of Applied Chemistry of the same university, where he has been a full Professor since 2001. Professor Mizuno has authored over 200 scientific publications.
